Dr Johannes Conradi appointed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board

The property expert will take over the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at EUROPA-CENTER from company founder Uwe Heinrich Suhr, who will remain on the board as an ordinary member.

Dr Conradi intends to support the company with his experience: ‘In the course of my many years of consulting experience as a lawyer in real estate and corporate law, I have often encountered EUROPA-CENTER on the market. I have experienced the company as a dynamic and serious investor that develops projects for its own portfolio. So it didn't take me long to accept Mr Suhr's offer to join the Supervisory Board of his company and chair it. I look forward to being able to contribute my property expertise in the development and management of commercial properties in Germany and abroad via the Supervisory Board of EUROPA-CENTER in the future.’

Mr Suhr is happy:

‘I am very pleased to welcome on board such an experienced, proven expert as Dr Conradi. I am sure that the appointment of Dr Conradi as Chairman of the Supervisory Board will have a positive external impact on our company. At the same time, it will rejuvenate the Supervisory Board.’

Sein Studium in Hamburg und München schloss Dr. Johannes Conradi 1993 mit Promotion ab. Über 30 Jahre war er Partner einer internationalen Sozietät. Seit 2022 ist er geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der Blacklake GmbH - BLACKLAKE Management Partner. Dort fokussiert er sich auf die strategische, unternehmerische und operative Beratung von Immobilienunternehmen, Projektentwicklern, Finanzinvestoren und Kreditinstituten. Zudem engagiert er sich als Präsidiumsmitglied des ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss sowie stellv. Vorstandsvorsitzender des ICG Institut für Corporate Governance in der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft und gehört dem Local Committee Hamburg des Urban Land Institute (ULI) an. Darüber hinaus wirkt er in diversen Aufsichts- und Beiräten innerhalb und außerhalb der Immobilienwirtschaft mit. Dr. Conradi ist verheiratet, Vater von vier Kindern und wohnhaft in Hamburg.
