This debut achievement gave us the go-ahead for further exciting large-scale projects in and around Barcelona: our IHG hotel Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Barcelona Sabadell is currently under construction and is expected to welcome its guests in 110 rooms and 20 suites in 2026.
Moreover, we will be realising our very first office property in Spain: designed by architect duo Batlleiroig, as the largest, sustainable office centre at the gates of Barcelona, EUROPA-CENTER Barcelona will offer a plethora of amenities across a total area of 42,000 m². With the handover of EUROPA-CENTER Barcelona Sant Cugat to NOVUM
Hospitality in the spring of 2022, the EUROPA-CENTER real estate group successfully completed its first project in Spain. The family-run hotel group operates the 4-star hotel in the superior segment, offering over 208 rooms and 144 parking spaces under the Holiday Inn franchise brand.
The business park on the outskirts of the Catalonian capital marks the start of further developments on the Iberian Peninsula under the EUROPA-CENTER brand. The international projects of EUROPA-CENTER AG will be driven by the subsidiary EUROPA-CENTER International, which was specifically created for this purpose.
